When I was a child, we could walk out any evening to view the Milky Way. My husband, as a boy, even saw many meteors in the very early morning sky as he delivered the local newspaper on his bike around town. It is a shame I took it all for granted and now the beauty is so hidden from us who live in cities. Keep up the great work at the Smithsonian, we always love visiting!
