Jemison got her one flight then quit NASA promptly… so much for having a dream. She wasted NASA’s time and money by choosing to be a one hit wonder. She isnt the only one
to do that as an Astronaut… but you can be sure no one ever became an Astronaut and admitted before their flight that they had no intention of doing it again. NASA would have kicked them out the door fast before ever flying them.

This is what I call “living American dream”. Just imagine what a lost would be for her (and us) if she would listen to those close-minded people telling her to dream something more realistic.
